Stephen earned a PhD from the joint program of Northwestern University and Garret-Evangelical Theological Semnary, a ThM from Trinity University, and an MDiv from St. Paul School of Theology. In addition to serving as pastor of churches in Rome, Italy; Illinios, and Kansas, he served as Professor of Religious Studies at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas, and as Chaplain and Minister to the University at Southern Methodist University. Stephen is married to Joni, has four grown children, and a quiver full of grandchildren.
